Why you need a gaming router
If you think there are IT&C products made only to give the marketing department something to work on then you must agree that wireless gaming routers are one of those categories of products. But after I’ve done some research I’ve found that things couldn’t be any different and I’m going to list the motives to buy the best gaming router:
* You need a wireless router that can sustain multiple simultaneous connections without dropping any of them. It’s like you’re fragging at a LAN party and you want to make sure that you won’t miss a headshot in CounterStrike because you’ve been disconnected from the wireless network
* You need a fast connection, with low latency per package that can support sending multiple small network packages (this is a typical scenario for a games in multiplayer mode)
* You want to easy connect and configure the network and also want some visual indicators on the router that help you see fast what’s going on to your network
* You need special configuration web software that will ease up things, not make them more complicated
