Wardrobe Closets: What about other stand alone closets?
There are more stand alone closets than just the wardrobe closet. In fact, a product that’s growing in popularity these days – especially for dorm rooms and people on the go – is what’s called a portable closet. These are closets that stand alone and are actually mobile too. Many have wheels – smaller ones just have handles. They usually collapse for easy storage.
If you are interested in the space more than how it looks – then a portable closet is a much, much more inexpensive solution than an armoire.
However, if you’re looking for something made with design in mind, something that looks really cool that you want people to see, and money is not a concern, then shoot for the wardrobe closet.
It really just depends on what your needs are.
