Tote Bags Are Very Versatile
A tote bag is a great utility bag for carrying all kinds of items. The obvious places to use one are the library and the grocery store. You can hold many things in a single tote.
Remember that a tote bag may not seem heavy but a large one can weigh quite a bit if it is full of heavy things. If weight is an issue, consider purchasing a larger number of smaller bags. They can be stored very compactly and because they are smaller, the weight when full will not be overwhelming.
Other things to look for include an interior that can be wiped clean (handy for grocery store spills or wet bathing suits) or smaller pockets that you can use to keep organized.
