Plus size clothes can be particularly depressing and boring to purchase, but it doesn’t have to be that way.  There are many retailers that now cater specifically to the plus size crowd and most of them are very fashion forward and trendy.  Of course a lot of those retailers are also upscale and pricey, but with a little research you can find beautiful clothing at reasonable prices.  Doing a search on the Internet is the easiest and most popular choice for finding reasonable priced clothes, but any girl will tell you that it is near impossible to find clothes that look right on you without trying them on first.  My suggestion is to go shopping at the upscale retailers, try on some clothes, remember the styles that looked best on you and what size you need then go online to find a comparable item but at a cheaper price.  Many online retailers were have a return policy so if you do get something that doesn’t work, you can always return it.  Another option is to watch for sales at the local retailers, they tend to have many as they know they are competing with cheaper retailers online and need to be competitive in order to stay in business!  Plus size jackets and winter coats are popular items that often go on sale with very deep discounts, so keep your eye out for the right one and snatch it up when the opportunity presents itself!
