Hair Growth – Speed It Up

Growing out hair is frustrating – is there anything we can really do to speed it up?

Actually, yes. The average rate of hair growth is a lazy half inch a month or so. But with the proper care and conditions you can prod your couch potato hair follicles into producing strands faster than that. Just don’t expect miracles – 2 inches a month just ain’t gonna happen.

That said, if you really want long locks, you have to take a multi-faceted approach. Are you sleeping enough? Believe it or not, lack of sleep slows down hair growth. Are you eating well enough? It’s OK, most people don’t. Your hair – like every other part of you – needs good nutrition to be its best. Fill up on a variety of beautiful, colorful vegetables, protein-packed legumes and whole grains, and you’ll shine from head to toe. Top it off with hair growth vitamins and that botched haircut will be a thing of the past.
