If you have a broken office chair wheel, then you may want to consider repairing the wheel or replacing it instead of purchasing a whole new chair. I have seen many people throw away perfectly good chairs just because the casters are broken, when they could have just spend 30 minutes in repairing or replacing the wheel and saved a lot of money.

Here are a few tips if you need to repair or replace office chair casters. First, you probably just want to replace them because they usuallly are fairly cheap to replace. You may have to purchase a lot of 5 (yes, that’s a very odd number for replacement chair parts), but since they are cheap it will be nice to have a few extra on hand.

To find a good replacement part, first check with your chair supplier. They should be able to help you or point you to where you can go to find the right part for your chair.
