Managing dehydration during exercise

It’s a hot day and you are in the gym slugging it out.  You’ve got sweat dripping from your
forehead, sweaty armpits, sweat running down your back and your shirt is as wet as if it was raining.  All this sweat must come from somewhere.

The most important thing to remember when exercising is to drink plenty of water.  I cannot stress this fact enough.  As you are training you are loosing a massive amount of water through sweat.

This can cause your system to work ineffectively and can lead to excessive pain during recovery.  This is due to toxin build-up.  If you were to drink water or sports drinks continuously, then you would be allowing your system enough fluid to work effectively.

This would cause a better workout and a much better recovery.  Whether it is anaerobic exercise or aerobic exercise, it is very important to drink fluids such as water continuously.  The worst case scenario is that of dehydration.  Dehydration can lead to feeling faint or even death.  So remember, water is life.
