Some people have problems getting their phone to work correctly with this internet phone service.  One of the biggest problems is that the phone being used with Magic Jack does not ring.  The first thing you should try to do if this is happening is to try several different phones to see if you can find one that does work for you.  If that does not solve the problem, then try using a different phone line making sure that it is not over 6 feet long as the company recommends.  Another thing you want to try is an external a/c powered usb hub. A regular usb hub will not work for this.  These external hubs seem to solve a lot of the problems with this phone service.
