The country style of decorating your home has been around a long time. In fact, it was not always a style; it used to be just how things were done. I often wonder how a person from the 1700’s would react if they visited some of the houses that incorporate this style into their homes. They would probably feel right at home and wonder why mankind hadn’t made any progress in the last 300 years.

One of the easiest ways to get that country look in your kitchen is to add country kitchen curtains. You could get a three tiered curtain with valance and swag, or if you do not need that much covering you could get by with just the valance and still create a charming atmosphere in your kitchen. There are so many different designs of valances out there that you are sure to find one that fits perfectly with your home.
