Chest Workout

The best chest workout will always switch the order that you work different parts of the chest.

What are the different parts of the chest?

The chest is divided into 5 parts.

  1. Upper Chest
  2. Middle Chest
  3. Lower Chest
  4. Inner Chest
  5. Outer Chest

Each part is worked out by either changing your hand positioning on the bar or angle at which you perform the movement.  The wider grip you take the more outer chest you are going to workout.  A close grip will target the inner chest more as well as put more stress on the triceps.  Upper chest is done by inclining the bench while the lower is done by using a declined bench.  The middle chest is best worked on a flat bench with hands a little wider than shoulder width.
