Thrills to Enhance Your Mood & Relax for Your Wedding Day

Planning a wedding can be a stressful time, here are a couple of tips to help you relax and enhance your mood.

Provided they aren’t allergic, flowers – especially colourful, large and fragrant ones – are bound to provide your partner with a frisson of romance. Don’t leave them in the vase; sprinkle them in the bathtub too.

Don’t forget the power of Mother Nature. A breathtaking mountain top, a sunset beach, cool, running water… natural wonders are the most romantic there are. But don’t forget a blanket – the cold will soon bring you back down to earth.

Remember that seduction is not a by-numbers ritual. If you’ve fallen into a pattern, do it in reverse order!

You can never have too many pillows and cushions, either for relaxing, or supporting your bodies in various positions. Keep plenty around your bed, and simply toss them aside if they’re in the way.

Candles are a cliché for a good reason. At least, good lighting is essential. Up-lighting or shaded lighting is better than harsh overhead light every time.

Treat your partner to a bath. The simple act of running or drawing it for them is easily achieved and yet a clear signal that you want them to relax.

All Travelers Need Insurance

Business travelers are usually jetting around the world with expensive equipment required for their jobs. Luxury travelers might have very nice clothes or jewelry that they have packed with them. The normal traveler might have a piece of luggage that contains all their clothes for their entire trip. What do all of these types of travelers have in common? A need for travel insurance! Losing any of their valuables is terrible, but when you are in a foreign country it is almost impossible to recover what was lost or stolen. Buying travel insurance beforehand will eliminate those problems.

So long as you secure a police report and have thoroughly documented what you packed as well as its value, claims are generally processed very quickly and without hassle. Travel insurance costs much less than traditional insurance, because it is usually short-term, or only for a couple of months. For long-term travelers, global coverage is expensive, but a necessary expense if you are self-employed and rely on some piece of technology for your livelihood.

Miami Golf Secrets

It is no secret that Miami offers some of the best golfing facilities available. Not only are these courses challenging, they are also situated in beautiful surroundings.

Crandon Park Golf Course, located on Key Biscayne, has received awards from Golfweek and Golf Digest. Just minutes from downtown Miami, this 18-hole course has been a preferred golf destination since 1993. It was at that point that Crandon Park underwent a 1.5 million dollar renovation.

It features golf cart and equipment rentals, a large pro shop, practice greens, pro lessons and a lighted driving range. This course also utilizes ParView in all of their golf carts, which is a state of the art golf communication and distancing system.

Located in Coral Gables, the Belleview Biltmore Golf Club was designed in 1925 by well-know golf architect Donald Ross. This beautiful course has been favored by both pro golfers and amateurs, for many years. This is due to the fact that it is challenging and forgiving at the same time.

Tee times are a requirement, at the Biltmore Golf Club. Private golfing events are welcome. The club features a fully stocked pro shop. Equipment rentals are available, as well.

Miami Beach Golf Club is often referred to as the premier golf destination, in the heart of historic Miami Beach. It is the choice of many golf loving celebrities, when they want to work on how to perform the perfect golf swing.

Opened in 1923 and designed by Carl Fisher, the club has undergone many improvements. It is open 365 days a year and rents only top quality equipment to its patrons.

NFL Sunday Ticket on Direct TV

Well its only another month or so until NFL training camps start up, and two months until the pre-season starts. If you have been considering a switch away from high cable TV prices, this is a good time of year to consider satellite TV. Of course you can go with either Dish Network or Direct TV. The big advantage Direct TV has over Dish Network is the NFL Sunday Ticket package, which is locked up with Direct TV until 2014. While details haven’t been released yet, last year if you paid for the NFL package, you got four months free of the top Direct TV package. I would expect a similar if not better promotion this year. The best thing to do is wait until training camp starts, then see exactly what promotion is being offered.

The Gard department, Languedoc Roussillon

There are 22 regions in France and within those regions there are a further 95 departments. In this article we will focus on one of the departments within the Languedoc France, the Gard. Situated to the east of the region the Gard is located next to the Herault department of the Languedoc and shares another border with the region of Provence, all in the South of the country.

The capital city of the Gard is Nimes, a once ancient Roman capital, and is famous for, amongst other things, the origin of the material denim, de Nimes, used as we know today to make jeans. It is also well known for its stunning Roman amphitheatre, the Maison Carrée, where bullfighting takes place each year.

Equally attractive to tourists and holiday makers is the very pretty town of Uzes which has become a favorite for second home owners, and is very Provencal in it’s style, hardly surprising as much of this department was once a part of Provence until borders were changed.

The Perfect Wine Tour

If the generic Napa Valley wine tour, which consists of seeing the same wineries and restaurants as everyone else, isn’t for you; maybe creating your own is.  For a little extra money you can have the best Napa wine tour that is tailored for you and your party.  You start by finding a tour company that does custom itineraries, then figuring out what you want to see, taste, and eat.  It is a good idea to come up with more things and restaurants than you have time for, because the tour planners will have valuable insight into how that place will be at that particular time.  If that winery is commonly packed on the weekend you are looking at, you may want to see another one instead.  This will allow you to get off of the common path that the rest of the tourists travel and see things that most people usually don’t.

Why Buy a Good Acoustic Guitar?

If you think all acoustic guitars are the same, you probably do not play the guitar at all or have not been playing for very long.  There are a lot of companies that make guitars in the world.  Many of these are pumping out rather generic models meant to satisfy beginners through mid-range ability players.  There are a few makers who stand above the rest however.

One such guitar maker is Gibson Guitars.  Gibsons have been played by some of the most talented guitar players of our time.  Although most people have heard electric Gibson guitars on tracks from artists like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones, many have not heard and appreciated the wonderful tones produced by Gibson acoustic guitars.

The top of the line models can be quite expensive.  Paying several thousand dollars is a given if you are looking for a classic like the Gibson Hummingbird guitar.  One listen though and you can clearly hear the difference between these high quality guitars and something cheaper.  For serious musicians playing one of these beautifully crafted instruments is a real treat.  For listeners, the rich full tones make a world of difference compared to what is produced by a cheaper guitar.

Boardwalk Benches

Point Pleasant Pithiness

Point Pleasant Pithiness

The boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach has a lot of benches that line the eastern edge of the walkway. It can be very relaxing to sit there, gazing out at the beach and the Atlantic. It is also neat that each almost all of the benches found here have a little saying on them. Most are memorials to someone in the form of a few words. Dates, a name, a few word saying. I would guess that the chance to put a saying on these benches was sold at some point to pay for them to be built.

This small scale “stadium rights” naming to pay for costs scheme is a real hoot. I know I enjoyed looking at all the the bench memorials during a number of walks I took, covering the whole extent of the boardwalk, while I was visiting Point Pleasant last week.

How To Sell Your Cricut Creations

Making money with your hobby is one of the greatest pleasures in life. You love it, they love it, and you get some cash in the process. Cricut Expressions are excellent ways to turn a love of scrapbooking into a real business. But making a Cricut project and finding where to sell it is only half the battle. You also have to convince the store owners that your Cricut creations are worth them selling! How do you do this? Well, it’s vital that you come prepared. Have a few samples of your work and exactly what you would sell. Have a nice portfolio of your custom card designs, your packages of party decorations, or your Scrapbook templates. Show it to them, and explain the pricing for each product, and the commission you are willing to share.

Dress professionally, and present your work professionally. You want to be taken seriously! Be prepared to bargain a little on the price and how much the owners will receive on commission. But remember, don’t undersell yourself. These are your creations, your ideas, and your work. You deserve to be compensated for it. Generally the nicer you present yourself and your work, the more people will be willing to deal with you. Once you get that first store to sell, you can use it as an example with others and you will find many more people are happy to display your custom Cricut creations.

Clear Acrylic vs Red Rubber Stamping

When beginning rubber stamping, you will notice that there are basically two types of rubber stamps on the market.  Red rubber and  clear acrylic stamps.  Red rubber stamps have been on the market the longest and traditionally are the type of rubber stamps that you will find for sale in most craft supply shops.  Clear acrylic stamps are newer to the market and are becoming more and more popular.
Selecting the type of rubber stamps that you will use for your crafting is basically up to personal preference.  There are many die-hard red rubber fans out there, and so many image designs available for purchase.  If you become addicted to this hobby, you will soon find that they take up a lot of space!  However, the downfall of the red rubber stamp probably is the fact that they are mounted on a small block of wood.  You cannot see very easily when placing your image down on paper.  There are some tricks available, but you may mostly use your eye.  It is a little tricky.
Clear acrylic rubber stamps are becoming more and more popular. They have the advantage of taking up less space and thus being easier to store.  But more importantly they are produced out of a material that is thin and has a cling back. You can easily peel a clear acrylic stamp off it’s packaging and stick it to a clear acrylic block.  From there, you can see through to place your image down on the paper more easily than a red rubber stamp.  The stamp can be used over and over again much the same way as a red rubber stamp, by keeping it clean between uses.
