Choose the style you prefer. The color and print to add just the right touch to any room is waiting to accommodate you.

Bronze can give your kitchen a pretty unique look since most kitchens use the metal finish type of faucets and sinks. There is more to these bronze faucets than just the looks though. Bronze is a metal like no other. There are a couple of reasons why you would want to use bronze. The first reason is because they are relatively easy to clean and don’t stain like many other metals. The next thing is that they look better as time goes by. It is sort of like wine. There are different shades that you can pick from and they can be found online or at the stores.

A Special Bed For My Special Boy

Even though he was born when I was just nineteen years of age, my son Bobby has been the light of my life every day since then.  I enjoy waking up to him crawling into bed with me wanting to cuddle, and as a Dad I love having someone who likes to watch action movies with me.  So a couple weeks ago when Bobby saw a childrens car bed in the mall, I knew we needed to take it home.  It was a boy’s bed for a total boy.  It had lightning stripes across the side and front, and even had little engine parts popping out of the “hood” area at the bottom of the bed.  We got it home, easily put it together and that night my son went to sleep dreaming of being a stud driver in NASCAR.

DIY Koi Pond Filters: You Can Do It Yourself

If you are looking at a nice project to do yourself, installing DIY koi pond filters is a good choice.  These filters work by forcing the water up through a channel. Waste products get caught in the filter, thereby cleaning the water. However, when enough waste accumulates in the filter, the mechanism gets clogged. If it is not cleaned out, the clog causes the filter to spew out dirty water, which then falls back into the pond.

Cleaning koi pond filters is the least fun part of being a responsible koi owner. The filter has to be completely removed from the pond, after which it has to be taken apart. After flushing the entire filter with water, usually from a hose, the filter mechanism should be taken completely apart so that each part can be cleaned. When this is done, the mechanism can be reassembled and put back in the pool.

Forged Iron Bed Basics

Forged iron beds were popular in the 1800’s. The elegant look and the sturdy and artistic craftsmanship make them much sought after today. Most antique forged iron beds are still in very good shape today and can be found in antique stores by searching antiques on the Internet or in local antique shops. Because they are antiques, expect to pay for the antique quality. However, you can get the look and quality by buying a forged iron bed that is handcrafted by manufacturers today.

Several companies are making quality forged iron beds. Stone County Ironworks creates a leaf pattern on the headboard and footboard. Each bed is handmade, so each will be slightly unique. The buyer has a choice from fourteen different finishes. The finishes are baked onto the metal. Wesley Allen, located in California, also builds quality forged iron beds.
